We are off to the 2010 SEMA show, in this sleepy little town called Las Vegas. It’s in New Mexico. This is Mecca for all car, motorcycle, truck and off road enthusiasts. If it is sold in our industry, or about to be available, you will find it here. This is total sensory overload, so bring comfortable shoes and alot of time, because it is HUGE.
We were also able to help John and Jacy Jackson of Not Stock Photography get their Boogie Van (a 1964 Corvair van) repainted and the custom-made wood floor clear coated before he took off on his road trip to Vegas as well. You’ll see his van outside the SEMA show in the entrance area. Check out their site for some fantastic pictures. They do all of the photography for our projects. He is definitely talented and on his way to the top in this industry. I have always wanted to have some of PAINTHOUSE’S work at SEMA, so this is our first…of many to come!
Also, this week, LeMonster, our ’72 LeMans convertible project was sent off for upholstery at Ron Mangus‘ Custom Auto Interiors while Blew Bayou, the ’67 GTO project will be returning home from its trip out West for some new blue cow skins at Ronnie’s as well. Stay tuned for pictures as soon as we return from Vegas.
Until next time…
